After returning to his hometown from a mental hospital, Richard Rosenthal finds his parents, pillars of their community, missing.  He embarks on a path to find them, but when everyone seems to be hiding something, his search turns into a maniac-fueled rampage that leaves him questioning if he's in a conspiracy or once again losing his mind.
