Back when first writing this scene I never thought I’d be able to actually film it at an active airport, with 5 WWII era planes, let alone direct them to fly around for the film. In retrospect, it was such a rewarding and fun experience to direct this and see my vision come to life.

Nowadays before I start any film or project, I often think back to this scene and love using it as motivation to aim big, to stay true to my vision, and to go towards the things that seem impossible.
